Windows bring in light, connect us with the outside world, and enhance what they frame. Allow yourself to pause for a mindful moment today using a window frame in your home for a moment of focus and reflection as we all spend more time indoors. See Your Way to Mindfulness by David Schiller encourages us to linger at the window with this mindfulness exercise. See the world like a picture: Sit. Seek out your favorite window. Then use the window like a meditation cushion. The frame is a tool to help us turn what we see into a picture, the way the cushion supports our body and makes it easy for us to sit. And then we’re ready to get up—to get off the cushion, to eliminate the frame, to see on our own.

What counts as sustainable seafood? The biggest concerns to keep in mind are overfishing, habitat damage, and bycatch (when animals like dolphins and turtles accidentally get caught in fishing nets). The best way to know what seafood is sustainable is to consult Seafood Watch, an organization which helps identify fish that's caught or farmed in ways that support a healthy ocean. You can find free downloadable guides on their website, seafoodwatch.org.

You can also use this cheat sheet as a quick reference. The fish listed under “best bets” are rated by the Environmental Working Group as coming from sustainable sources and being high in omega-3s (good for your body) and low in mercury (bad for your body). On the other side are fish to avoid for their levels of mercury alone. Check out How to Be a Conscious Eater for more practical tips on what to eat. #ConsciousEaterbook

Been passing the time at home with some paint by stickers. Great way to distress
Look what came today! So excited! I’m so delighted. Thank you very much!!
Hi Guys, my name is Sergio and i have an excellent childrens story i would like to publish. How can we make this dream come true please contact me. Thank you :) [email protected]
Pre-release all of Sandra Boston's book/CD combos for the next generation! We need to make kids sing again! New Grandma's have to croon "Belly Button" and "Snuggle Puppy" - and heaven forbid they have forgotten the words! Baby showers are being planned now! We need to be ready! Thank you for your kind attention to this critical matter. MEileeen
Hey, Workman, I have now tried twice to get a copy of this book where the stickers actually peel off without fighting them, which causes them to rip and break, and both copies are basically impossible to use. Can you get me a working copy of this book? It’s a great idea, and my five year old loves it, except that she can’t get the stickers off the page!!
About 2 weeks ago, I ordered a Page a day cat calendar. I haven't received it yet! What is the delay?
Our book (that we bought last year but just now opened) was missing a piece. It’s an advent calendar book. I called your company last week and the sweet lady on the phone immediately got my address and sent us the replacement part no questions asked. Thank you for that level of customer service!!
Found a new way to relax before bed. A paint by sticker book. The pictures are gorgeous
Hi Workman Publishing I wanted to take the time to write to you about something that’s puzzling me. I live in Australia. Last night, I came across the calendar shown below. I’ve been looking for a 2020 family planner, as I have a very busy little family and need visual assistance to remember stuff. I have a partner that works all over the place and has multiple dance classes a week. I have a son who studies at college, is starting to work his first part time job and does a lot of activities with Scouts. I have a daughter that is also starting to become more active and social. I’m studying at uni and I’m also all over the place on the weekends. All this stuff is really hard to keep track of without a planner, as you’d understand. This planner is exactly the sort of thing I need. However, it’s a stupid little thing, but as a single father, I’m feeling kinda let down that evidently only Mums have to deal with planning and taking care of the family. Surely, in this day and age, the idea of a “Mum’s calendar” is more than a little out of date and either reflects poorly on your company’s view of the world, or shows that your market research may be a little out of date. I don’t want to be the person who makes it all about them... as long as my kids and partner are safe and happy, then that’s all I need. However, a little recognition that I do just as much as a Mum would be nice every now and then. As a single Dad, I’m sure you’d understand that I still find myself dealing with stereotypes fairly often. Having to deal with one less would be lovely. Thanks, I hope you understand.
