Thank you for participating in this year’s Transparent Film Festival.

It was challenging to say the least for all of us. We're amazed by your individual and collective determination to make films during a global pandemic.

With your support our reach and engagements have exploded on Facebook. Our viewership is up for our Friday night TV show in NYC, and we streamed the entire event live on our new YouTube channel with 80 unique attendees (which isn't bad for a channel that was set up one week prior).

You see we're all about the data, and we notice everything. Which is why Transparent 4 will be even bigger and better.

Perhaps most importantly, we were able to honor our commitment to the best of the 2020 filmmakers who were shut out of screening live. This was very important to us because we don't just "phone it in". And we don't just select films from NYC to sell tickets. Our future and our brand are everything to us, as are you. We're not only grateful that you chose to submit your films to Transparent Film Festival, but we sincerely value your hard work and commitment, and feel you are owed at least the same from ALL FILM FESTIVALS.

You can see photos from this year's event and (VERY IMPORTANT) leave your review at https://filmfreeway.com/TransparentFilmFestival (click on Reviews). We notice every review.

We continue to build our streaming channel, with an eye towards offering programming 7 nights a week sometime in 2022. Our model is similar to that of MTV in the 1980s, only with the power of the internet, and social media behind us. We sincerely hope you will allow us to continue to promote your work.

Now that the festival is over, you may request we remove we remove your work by simply letting us know and we will expeditiously accommodate you.

We sincerely wish you the best in your filmmaking career,

5 FAST FACTS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

First of all we want to thank everyone for their participation and their patience. We got our 100 subscribers and more so we'll be doing a live stream. More about that later in this post.

ALL TICKET SALES INCLUDING COMPS HAVE NOW CLOSED.

Filmmakers who did not claim their comps, get us their films in the correct format on time, or from whom we have not otherwise heard, will have their selected films screen online.

1. We have combined Programs 1 and 2 on Friday Night. The new start time is 6 PM. All ticket holders are invited to attend Program 3 (2020 Awards Ceremony).

2. There are no changes to Saturday's schedule other than that THE MONSTER IN MY CLOSET has been moved to Friday (see below).

3. In order to attend online, PLEASE SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOTS. There are no comps for the online event. It takes too much time to create and reconcile 40 coupons and discounts with the vendor. For this reason we purposely kept the cost low for attending the individual programs at $4.99. Additionally, you can attend all programs for $9.99 (to subscribe for a month).

4. The live stream for Friday night will begin at 6 PM. The live stream for Saturday night will begin at 5 PM. Both nights will be available to watch live on our website: https://www.transparentfilmfestival.com/. There is no charge to attend online LIVE.

v12films.com I would like to thank Brian McLane and The Transparent Film Festival crew for firstly, keeping HONEST. The promised feedback, the communication was above and beyond--stupendous. In actuality and after serious consideration, we tweaked The Orchestration of Audrey based on some of the notes received. It gelled a weak spot. Thanks to you again! Hopefully next year I can be in attendance-- ya gotta love NY !

It was great meeting these guys at IFM and so glad they liked our short. As others have said, they have a genuine love of film. I could see myself drinking many beers and waxing poetically about filmmaking for hours with them. Highly recommended!
Brian is terrific and true to his word. He watched my short within 24 hours and got back to me with a thoughtful, intelligent, constructive critique that showed he really paid attention to my film in great detail. In a world where you never know who watches your film and how much consideration it is given in any festival(or even if they definitely watch it) it is great to find someone who really pays attention and clearly loves films and filmmakers. Thanks so much.
