Irene Liberman Design A graphic designers story. I've worked for a broad range of clients, since graduating Carnegie Mellon University.

The chances are very good I've worked in your company's field. I also have many years experience with not for profit folks. I have many years experience in employee benefit consulting, working with Kwasha Lipton, the old Towers Perrin and Coopers Lybrand. I am currently working with Building Service BJ32 Benefit Funds. I designed and produced a 110 page manual and supplemental marketing materials

for Montefiore Hospital. I spent many joyful years producing the New York Times on-line sales products with terrific subjects like World War II, Elvis Presley and Ellis Island. I am currently privileged to work with an exciting and emotionally charged client RSDSA (Reflex Sympathetic Distrophy Syndrome Association).

U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders
15 hrs ·
Donald Trump tapped into the anger of a declining middle class that is sick and tired of establishment economics, establishment politics and the establishment media. People are tired of working longer hours for lower wages, of seeing decent paying jobs go to China and other low-wage countries, of billionaires not paying any federal income taxes and of not being able to afford a college education for their kids - all while the very rich become much richer.

To the degree that Mr. Trump is serious about pursuing policies that improve the lives of working families in this country, I and other progressives are prepared to work with him. To the degree that he pursues racist, sexist, xenophobic and anti-environment policies, we will vigorously oppose him.

Using digital technology, Rain Room creates a carefully choreographed downpour, simultaneously encouraging people to become performers on an unexpected stage and creating an intimate atmosphere of contemplation.

The John Muir Trail in NYC is the only trail in Van Cortlandt park that goes East to West. You can hike from the Woodlawn stop on the 4 train (and stop at the cemetery on the way) to the number 1 train. On the way you pass the croton aqueduct trail. it's not the best part of the park, but gives you a feel for the whole layout. The Cricket players were out in full regalia. The manor house is open most days. i always assumed the family were total tories. Actually the house was an outpost for washington and his commanders. For $5 you can get the whole story plus a new sculpture from the art students league.

michael graff led a walk in central park showing the fortifications of the war of 1812. The fife and drum corps were superb and Sidney Horenstein talked about the geology of the area and the fort at 108th street. it was a celebration of the bicentennial.

The Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine in Morningside Heights is an occupied zone this spring, with a transient population of unearthly beings camped out in its chapels and aisles, says the new york times. The figures at the cathedral were created by the South African artist Jane Alexander, who was born in 1959 and lives and works in Cape Town. They are "half-hidden, half-human, half-bestial things, refugees from the subconscious, defectors from dreams, staking claim to turf in the spiritual realm."

Everyone, especially designers need to re-create themselves.
If you're near the Hudson River you might check out the Metropolitan Museum of Art that the Rockefeller family donated and called The Cloisters, a replica of a medieval monastery, rises from the towering cliffs of Fort Tryon Park in the Washington Heights section of northern Manhattan. A designated New York City landmark, it incorporates parts of actual Romanesque and Gothic cloisters from five medieval European monasteries, a Romanesque chapel, and a 12th-century Spanish apse. Fort Tryon Park has a heather garden and miles of walking paths, with interesting wild plants.

The arsenal within central park at 64th street and 5th avenue is having a photo exhibit of Benjamin Swett's tree photography. Twenty-eight color portraits of trees around the five boroughs take the viewer up close to some of the extraordinary species that grow along the streets and in the parks, cemeteries, gardens, and backyards of the city.

What does pink sound like? What about silver? Paul Klee encouraged his students at the bauhaus to investigate the polyphonic characters of different colors. This collage was done for a famous opera singer Rosa Silber (Pink Silver) touching off associations between sight and sound. We'll have to consider this in our website design.
