GIVE ME AWAY is back!

Season 3 of our acclaimed science fiction series GIVE ME AWAY returns next week with Episode 1 dropping on Thursday, August 7.

This is our most ambitious season yet, spanning nearly two years in the lead-up to a Presidential election that will change the lives of the hybrid-people of the Nevada Project forever. Graham Shapiro will have to go further than he’s ever gone before to protect his two families: his wife and children, and his chosen family at Red Camp.

On both our GIVE ME AWAY and ASK YOUR FATHER subscription feeds we've just released our unconventional Christmas Special, an excerpt from our Biblical audio drama ALMELEM. Adapted by Sean Williams from his play (pictured here), ALMELEM re-tells the New Testament story of Jesus in a witty, surprising, moving fashion - including a show-stopping monologue by Kristen Vaughan as Mary, recalling the extraordinary circumstances of her famous child's birth. We're bringing you PART TWO, and this time the GB team takes the wheel. "Great Me Away," which brings the Stamatis siblings Nica and Dmitri into close encounters with our hybrids Graham/Joshua and Liz/Robin, is written by Alexander Danner and Jeff Van Dreason, sound designed by Alexander Danner, nd dialogue edited by Bob Raymonda, and featuring Kelly McCabe, James Johnston, Rebecca Comtois, and Sean Williams. Gideon Media is beyond honored to announce a crossover event between our sci-fi thriller series GIVE ME AWAY and one of the all-time great podcast dramas, Greater Boston. When human host / alien passenger Liz/Robin makes a trip to Boston to interview a new candidate for Red Camp, they arrange to reunite with Liz's sister (GREATER BOSTON favorite Melissa) on an emotional MBTA train ride to Wonderland (scripted by GIVE ME AWAY writer Mac Rogers) from which none of the three will emerge the same. We at Team Gideon regard GREATER BOSTON as one of the preeminent audio dramas to emerge from the 2010s flowering of the scripted fiction podcast form, and we are truly thrilled to be able to share a creative sandbox with them. Gideon Media is thrilled to announce that two of our fiction podcasts won big at this year's Signal Awards! Sean Williams' science fiction drama ASK YOUR FATHER won Gold in Scripted Fiction (Drama), and our audio adaptation of the Harrison Ford classic WITNESS won Silver in Scripted Fiction. We couldn't be more proud of these shows, and we're so grateful to the teams of artists who helped us make them.

Team Gideon Media was thrilled to discover that two of our recent audio dramas are finalists for the Signal Awards Listener's Choice Awards! Our adaptation of the 1984 Harrison Ford classic WITNESS is up for the Scripted Fiction Category, and our original; sci-fi drama ASK YOUR FATHER is a finalist in Scripted Fiction Drama. NEW PLAN, NEW PLAN!

Hello again, Gideon Media listeners. We previously posted a schedule of upcoming release dates for our sci-fi thriller series GIVE ME AWAY promising a behind-the-scenes interview with our cast this week, and then our exciting Season 2 finale next week.

But since that post went out we've received some, let's just say, *rather ardent feedback* that perhaps we should reverse that - particularly given the perilous place we left one of our heroes in the last cliffhanger.

Well never let it be said that we don't listen to the listeners: the GIVE ME AWAY Season 2 finale "This Family Will Never Be Over" releases this coming Thursday August 1st, wherever you get your podcasts! (More info in the top comment.)

Happy Tuesday, GIVE ME AWAY listeners! We wanted to give you a quick update on how the release schedule for the rest of Season 2 will play out:

- This coming Thursday 7/25 we're showcasing a different audio drama we love.

- Then a week later we're going to go behind the scenes with the cast of GIVE ME AWAY to learn all their secrets on playing two characters at once.

- Then on August 8th, it all comes together in the breathless SEASON 2 FINALE, as Graham realizes the person he loves the most is in the hands of Joshua's worst enemy.

It's gonna be a great three weeks in the world of GIVE ME AWAY, and we're honored to share it all with you.
