Virginia Student Surprises Janitor With Air Jordans

A school janitor couldn't afford a new pair of Jordan 8s. So a student went and bought the shoes for him. The reaction is awesome!
Yes, it's just a pair of shoes. But it is also an act of kindness. I don't know about you, but I would love to see more of that!

An unlikely bond between a Stafford County, Virginia, school janitor and a student has gone viral. Angel Echevarria, a custodian at Stafford High School, says he is used to being overlooked. “It’s normally...

Crash Zone for Rogue Space Station Includes Tri-State

OK so we are in the "crash zone" (which is pretty humongous!) but the chances of anything surviving the blistering temperatures of reentry into our atmosphere and hitting someone on the ground is one in one trillion!

Buy a hardhat or a lotto ticket?
Still cool to see!!!

A big portion of the United States, including parts of the tri-state, are part of the possible crash zone — that is, in the slim chance the object survives reentry.

This crash still frightens me! I just imagine the absolute chaos and confusion as the helicopter started filling with water.

Some of my key takeaways from the preliminary report:
- Over Central Park, front seat passenger LEANED BACK toward the pilot to take a picture of his feet outside the chopper. Moments later, pilot noted loss of fuel pressure and engine power.

- Descending toward the river, pilot found the emergency fuel shutoff lever (it's on the floor) was in the OFF POSITION, and that part of the front seat passenger's tether was underneath the lever.

- As cabin flooded with water, pilot says he unsuccessfully tried to remove front seat passengers carabiner attachment to the helicopter.

- Emergency float system on the left skid was more inflated than the floats on the right skid, a clue as to why the chopper rolled over.

The pilot has outlined the timeline of events in a preliminary report released by the NTSB.
