Ben Bryant's Memoirs

Ben Bryant's Memoirs "My Journey" is the overall title of my memoir trilogy covering the years from 1935 to 2014. Wow, that's (gulp) 79 years!

Fat kid, football player, singer, Hollywood/Broadway actor, New York film producer, director/editor, writer, mentor, husband and friend. And now, memoirist.

I didn't know that I was writing a series of entertainment books or a Hollywood memoir until someone else told me. "My Journey" was simply my life told in three segments. "Three Stages" starts at the beginning and runs through my retirement from singing and acting in 1972. "Circumstances Beyond My Control" picks up there and chronicles my adventures and misadventures as a film producer/AD over the next 18 years. The last book in the series, "Waiting for Elizabeth" begins with our cross country trip in 1990 brings us up to 1014.

Mission: My mission is to make my entertainment books available to the public.

Ben Bryant's Memoirs

Dear Friends and Readers,

Here we are approaching the final year of this bizarre decade.

Many are erroneously saying that 2020 is the beginning of the next decade. Many also said the start of the new millennium was 2000. These dates are actually the last years of their respective periods as the number 10 is the last and 11 is the first of two sets of ten; but I nit-pick (as I am wont to do).

However one categorizes it, the coming New Year feels both like the end of something important and, I hope, the beginning of something better. And this is my excuse for posting this interim Stuff That I have Noticed.

These are four of my favorites from the past two years. I hope you enjoy rereading them and, for those of you who are new to the list, reading them for the first time.

I decided to meet her at the airport but to do it in the style befitting my delight with her return. So I hired a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud complete with driver.

Football Celebrity Story Coach George Allen - Ben Bryant Entertainment Books

Late August, 1954, my first football practice under the legendary coach George Allen. I cannot tell you how much I loved playing (and practicing) football and I still would like to suit up but at 84, not likely. Coach Allen raised my game in innumerable ways and this time of year I miss him more than ever. http://www.entertainmentbooksbyben.com/2017/10/24/football-celebrity-story-coach-george-allen/

This is a celebrity story of a different kind: my celebrated college coach, the incomparable innovator George Allen. He was truly one-of-a-kind.

Entertainment Books

I didn't know that I was writing a series of entertainment books or a Hollywood memoir until someone else told me. "My Journey" was simply my singularly eclectic life told in three segments. Spanning from 1990 through 2014, the central story here is my losing and regaining the Love of my Life and this painful yet ultimately joyous saga is framed by my continuing artistic evolution, finally, as an editor and director in video.

Happy New Year Ben Bryant!
Is anyone looking into the possible financial kick back PresidentTrump is possibly expecting from his corrupt NY steel cronies (who built his NY steel Trump Towers) in his demanding the building of his outrageous steel wall. Stevi
