Ben Bryant's Memoirs

Ben Bryant's Memoirs "My Journey" is the overall title of my memoir trilogy covering the years from 1935 to 2014. Wow, that's (gulp) 79 years!

Fat kid, football player, singer, Hollywood/Broadway actor, New York film producer, director/editor, writer, mentor, husband and friend. And now, memoirist.

I didn't know that I was writing a series of entertainment books or a Hollywood memoir until someone else told me. "My Journey" was simply my life told in three segments. "Three Stages" starts at the beginning and runs through my retirement from singing and acting in 1972. "Circumstances Beyond My Control" picks up there and chronicles my adventures and misadventures as a film producer/AD over the next 18 years. The last book in the series, "Waiting for Elizabeth" begins with our cross country trip in 1990 brings us up to 1014.

Mission: My mission is to make my entertainment books available to the public.

Football Celebrity Story Coach George Allen - Ben Bryant Entertainment Books

Late August, 1954, my first football practice under the legendary coach George Allen. I cannot tell you how much I loved playing (and practicing) football and I still would like to suit up but at 84, not likely. Coach Allen raised my game in innumerable ways and this time of year I miss him more than ever. http://www.entertainmentbooksbyben.com/2017/10/24/football-celebrity-story-coach-george-allen/

This is a celebrity story of a different kind: my celebrated college coach, the incomparable innovator George Allen. He was truly one-of-a-kind.
