This summer, youth (grades 6 to 12) are invited to virtually join MIMA Music and the Music Resource Center (MRC) for a week of music making, mixing, and REMIXING. We’ll collaborate to record, edit, and produce professional quality tracks using digital recording technology such as BandLab, Reaper, Ableton Live, and ProTools.
We’ll also learn strategies for group and solo improvisation, composition, and lyric creation. In the process, participants will explore the sounds within their own environment, build confidence in expressing their ideas, and practice the skills of group collaboration and problem solving.
Camps will run Monday-Friday from 2pm - 3:30 pm.
$50 fee* for the week includes 1 year MRC membership (Scholarships available upon request)!
*Free for MRC members and MIMA alumni
