African Art Inspiration. Repost…
After how far we have come, we look back and see that it has Only been 70 years since segregation. And before that was just 163 years since we were free. And they still didn’t tell us all until 2 years later. Racism came from slavery and started in the politics, the main social systems like education and the courts. It’s like they didn’t want to give up slavery. And when you look around today, you see police brutality, and innocent black people still being targeted and harassed. We have all seen the recent cases of terrorism in Buffalo, NY, in Charleston, South Carolina and so on. So then you ask yourself, if we are All Family and Friends, that means, we all know the slave old holders and their families and their networks. It’s like we eat, sleep, and live with them. They are in our education system And The Government. And the courts and on the Police Department.
So, yes, we have come far, however they are still here with us. And We see that in the different policies and systems today. Some you notice, others you don’t. However you see through all the non negotiabilities of not raising wages to an acceptable standard all over the country, how they can try and keep us down as a whole. They didn’t just rid the country of Indians and then enslave Blacks in the New York area, they did this, all over the whole country. It’s incredibly dishonorable the way they have treated Black People then, and still to this day. And with all that, we still are inventors, and creators, and more. We will continue to Survive and Preserve.
