Konkori Residents Appeal for Support as Bamboo Handwork Sustains Families

Residents of *Konkori* depend on bamboo handwork for their livelihood.
They cut bamboo from the farm, smooth it, and cut it into small pieces. Meat sellers then buy the bamboo to use for grilling and drying meat.

The Hon. Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi has issued a strong warning to market women and traders.
During the national clean-up exercise on Saturday, he said some people intentionally close their shops and stay home, expecting others to clean for them.
He added that anyone caught refusing to participate or pretending not to join the exercise will face consequences.
He urged everyone to take part anytime a clean-up exercise is announced.
