An vintage illustration I did for the Mythos Dreamlands CCG published by Chaosium. This young man is (unsuccessfully) trying to cast a spell to repel a monster, whose shadow we see on the wall. I like it because it's humorous......in a dark kinda way.....

Two more artmoney works have gone up to the artmoney.org website and are available for purchase! These are colored pencil drawings on original prints (paper), and so they are one-of-a-kind, original works of art. They are unique drawings, no two are the same. Only $30 each for an original work of art! What a deal!

They are made to the specs according to the artmoney website: they are 4.5 x 7" in size (no borders), and are signed and have a unique serial number on the back. The shipping is weird on the site, US customers only pay $5 in shipping (you will get a refund).

Please go to the artmoney site to purchase:

I was recently interviewed by the IBPA about Willoughby's being named a Book of the Year, and here it is! Enjoy!

This article was originally intended to be posted in March, but once the COVID-19 health crisis began, IBPA adjusted our attention to creating content that would be helpful to our members in relation to the pandemic. Stephen Barnwell’s achievement is certainly worthy of celebration, and his insigh...

A couple weeks ago, I was invited to participate in an exhibition at the BSB Gallery in Trenton, NJ. Entitled, "Free Enterprise," the exhibit "discusses capitalism, it's pros and cons and effects and it's production of the American dream". The curator approached me after I was recommended to her from a curator at the Monmouth Museum. She wants all three of these prints in the show, and is using "Veiled Liberty" as the signature image for the show, used in all the publicity. So cool.

The opening is on Friday, April 3rd, 4-8pm at BSB Gallery in downtown Trenton. Hope to see you there!

My newish print, "Via Vitae" has just been accepted in to a group exhibition at the Monmouth Museum. This exhibition is for alumni of their Emerging Artists series, which gave me my solo show last fall. I'm so glad that this print is getting its exhibition debut, it's been in the works for a long time. Plus, it's big: around 44" square, framed. It'll look great on a museum wall!

The show's opening reception is on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 5pm – 7pm. Hope to see you there!

My political satire prints are now available at affordable prices! This actually marks a new decision I just made: to release my political prints for on-demand printing (open edition, rather than limited edition) and doing original drawings for my future gallery work. This is a huge change for me.....we'll see how it turns out! Check them out on Fine Art America:
