Rain will be heavy at times this Saturday, and that could cause flash flooding.
Right now there's a marginal flooding risk for the Boroughs, Northern New Jersey, and the Catskills.
There's a slight risk for scattered flash floods for parts of the Hudson Valley. Rainfall rates could approach 1-2" per hour.

Thanks for having me Live with Kelly and Ryan. Had to give a shout out to my Raleigh and Durham friends. The latest 11am NHC update now has Ian becoming a hurricane as it approaches South Carolina. The Georgia coastline is now under a Hurricane Watch, and a Tropical Storm warning for parts of the North Carolina coast.
Ian is still a tropical storm, but its a bit stronger this afternoon.
