Tuesday, March 29, President Barack Obama will travel to New York, NY, to deliver remarks at the dedication of the Ronald H. Brown United States Mission to the United Nations Building.

First lady Michelle Obama goes out to mentor students at high schools this Wednesday. She invited other celebrities to do the same , Tracee Ellis, Hillary Swank to name a few. They will be in DC schools, Maryland and Virginia schools as well. Hopefully I can drive down to at least one schools and get pix for Around Town.

Lady Obama celebrates Black History Month by hosting the White House Music Series Workshop. Invitees are 150 high school students from NY. Music that inspired the Movement will be led by greats like Smokey Robinson, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Yolanda Adams,Natalie Cole, Jennifer Hudson, Seal, Queens Latifah, Morgan Freeman, Robert De Niro and more. Its will be televised on Feb 12 for those of us who not invited.
