One of the major forces behind the ascent of Colombian techno onto the world stage, DJ and producer Sonico first became active in 1995; DJing, organizing events and doing everything in between to build a vibrant scene in his home country. Sonico’s hard work has paid off, earning him “Best Colombian Techno DJ” honors at the CDA awards on three different occasions! Today, Sonico is a globe-trotting artist with a busy touring schedule, performing in countries such as Japan, Germany, Panama, Luxemburg, Venezuela, Spain, Bulgaria, France and China, among others. The label boss behind both the Techsound and Hardcodelia imprints, Sonico has also established himself as a talented producer, regularly collaborating with industry heavyweights. Also the man behind Colombia’s annual Techsound Festival, Sonico continues to expand his footprint in his home country and around the globe! Inspired by his experiences in the 90’s rave scene, Microdot is behind the “Chicago Techno” movement; playing as well as organizing some of the biggest underground parties around the Midwest. A veteran producer and now a label boss with the launch of his I Heart Techno Records imprint in 2022, most of Microdot’s musical output can be characterized as heavily influenced by electronic music legends such as DJ Hyperactive, Mike Dearborn, Paul Johnson, Green Velvet and Anthony Rother, to name a few. The founder of , an annual free Detroit techno festival focused on the legacy of Detroit techno and house music, DJ Roach has built a formidable grass roots following since Tectroit’s inaugural year in 2011.
