"MY HUSBAND WENT TO HIS FEMALE FRIEND'S BIRTHDAY INSTEAD OF TAKING OUR SICK SON TO THE HOSPITAL – IT KILLED MY LOVE FOR HIM AND I TOOK THE EPIC REVENGE
It was exactly like it sounds. Only with the addition that I am 8 months pregnant and had to take my sick 4-year-old son to the hospital because my husband told me he couldn't miss his friend Jessica's 30th birthday party.
I explained to him that I wasn't feeling well enough to take our son to the hospital and that his friend would understand. But he just hung up and said I had to deal with it myself.
At that moment, MY LOVE FOR HIM DIED. How could he put his son's health, his pregnant wife, and our unborn child at risk for a party, even if it was a milestone birthday? Still, what's so special about turning 30?
The thing is, we had just moved to New York and didn't have any close friends or family nearby. So, I called an Uber, which cost a fortune.
It turned out my son had appendicitis and needed emergency surgery. When I called my husband to tell him, he didn't pick up. I was so angry and exhausted that I could barely stand.
