Rescue 1 & Ladder 43 Roof making the climb at 3rd alarm Box 1233.

08.15.2025 - Upper East Side, Manhattan - Shortly after 10am Manhattan fire alarm dispatchers began receiving numerous calls for fire from the roof at 305 East 95th street. As units were responding, the box was loaded up due to the quantity and quality of these calls. Engine 53, first due, noticed a large column of dark smoke billowing over 2nd avenue as they made their way to the fire. They quickly transmitted a 10-75 and got to work. A 2nd and 3rd alarm were quickly transmitted as fire extended into multiple apartments & the cockloft.

The second due engine, Engine 22, was assigned to an EMS call for a person with a paper cut shortly before the fire came over & were not permitted to respond in. This delayed getting the first line into operation. The first due truck, Ladder 43, was at another incident and was responding from a distance.

8.9.2025 | Douglaston, Queens - Shortly after midnight multiple 911 calls were received by the Queens Fire Alarm Dispatch Office reporting a house on fire with people trapped at 240-54 68th Avenue in the Douglaston area of Queens.

Due to the volume of calls, Box 3938 was loaded up. Engine 326 arrived first due and found a heavily involved dwelling attached on both sides and quickly transmitted an “Urgent” 10-75.

According to witnesses and residents, the fire appeared to have started in an all-electric GMC Sierra EV. Flames extended into the first and second floors of the building and through the roof. Multiple people were injured including at least one firefighter. The fire was placed under control after an hour.

Last night in Bushwick 8 NYPD Vehicles were set on fire. Undetonated explosive devices (similar to M80’s) were found in and around the burned vehicles. The Arsonist(s) are still on the loose.

This comes as protestors have clashed with NYPD & Federal agents from ICE although it is unclear if this incident is directly related.

03.15.25 Queens - Firefighters from Engine 301 and Ladder 150 Responded first due to this 10-75 on 200th Street and Hollis Avenue in Jamaica Queens. Fire consumed the rear of a 2 1/2 story Private dwelling. Fire traveled into the first and second floor walls of the building.

No one was injured.

FDNY units in Queens responded to a 2-Alarm warehouse fire on Monday night. Firefighters were met with a heavy fire and smoke condition in the rear of an irregular warehouse. Lots of stock & poor ventilation proved to be an obstacle at this incident.

FDNY Paramedics and EMTs attempt to save the life of a man pulled from the basement of 116-50 146th Street in Jamaica Queens after a 3-Alarm tore through the building.

Paramedics secured an IO (Intraosseous) line and administered Hydroxocobalamin (cyanokit) a life-saving drug that treats cyanide poising - crucial for patients suffering from smoke inhalation.

Unfortunately these interventions were unsuccessful.
