I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit the past few years and have been collecting memories throughout my journeys. WHERE is JJ Sereday is more than just a Travel Blog, it’s a interconnected collection of experiences mixed with curated content and recommendations.

You would think cooking for the whole family on a remote BC beach means longer setups, rushed cooking, missing the good part, eating late.

For us it is the opposite.

We prep a few things and pull out the nomadiQ North America stove, and while it cooks we keep watching the water for whales. A full two burner setup small enough to disappear in the rig, big enough to feed all of us.

A year of adventures and this little stove has not missed one.

There once was a time when posting a single photo was not only enough, but also all of your friends and followers saw it. They liked it and commented and supported your work. It has become exhausting and often depressing to shift from creating art to adapting your content to feed the algorithm.
I miss the good old days when social media wasn’t and overwhelmingly crowded with influencers and everyone flooding the feeds to just make noise without crafting your curating.

Just returned from a special Fathers Day adventure to the North Island. We are so lucky to have this as our backyard and to raise a child in the wild is a gift.
Looking back over the past 4 years of choosing the more challenging path has rewarded us with core memories we will never let go of. And everyday I remind myself to cherish these golden years.
