This is clear evidence showing that the Thai troops are firing toxic smoke towards the Cambodian forces, which is prohibited in warfare. 😡 The use of toxic substances is considered a war crime under international law.We, as the Cambodian people, strongly condemn this despicable act and regard it as a full-scale war crime committed by Thailand against Cambodia.

En plus des avions de chasse, la partie thaïlandaise a commencé à utiliser des armes ATMG de 155 mm, un type équipé de munitions à fragmentation que le monde a interdit de tirer sur le Cambodge.

Statement: Thai Military
Using Civilian Areas as Launch Sites to Fire into Cambodian Territory
Recent reports indicate that Thai military forces have utilized civilian-inhabited areas as launch sites for artillery and explosive attacks directed into Cambodian territory, particularly along contested border zones. This action not only constitutes a violation of Cambodia’s territorial sovereignty but also endangers the lives and property of innocent civilians living near the frontier.
The use of civilian zones for military purposes is a grave breach of international law, especially under the Geneva Conventions, which strictly prohibit the use of civilian populations and infrastructure as shields or strategic tools in armed conflict.
Such aggressive behavior risks escalating military tensions and undermining regional peace and stability. We urgently call upon the international community, including ASEAN and the United Nations, to investigate these acts and to take appropriate measures to halt the militarization of civilian spaces.
