We humans love focusing on what we don’t want, on what we don’t prefer. Today’s show is dedicated to everyone who regularly focuses on what they don’t want as they declare that the world is going to hell in a hand basket. Because whether you believe that it is or that it isn’t, you are right either way!We start by talking about the fact that it’s Independence Day here in the U.S. today, and President Donald Trump wants to put tanks in today’s official Independence Day parade. This has produced a great deal of angst on one side of the divide and fervor on the other side. But neither side seems to realize that they’re both supporting the same thing with their attention. My own view is that I really don’t care to watch the parade. We get to decide at all times what we’re going to focus on. When we focus so much on what we don’t want, we get more of what we don’t want. And then we fume about it happening that way!So if you truly want to celebrate Independence Day, celebrate your independence from having to focus on what you don’t prefer, because that choice always lies with you.To subscribe to our podcast via iPhone, iPad, or iPod, click here: subscribe to our podcast on an Android device, click here: subscribe using any device, click here: YouTube channel is at: our livestream at: talk with us on the phone go to: for all of our existing LOA Today subscribers, please keep sharing on your favorite social media channels that you’re listening to LOA Today, so that more and more people can get their daily doses of happy.

Energy Stew - Is our culture losing respect for truth?

What are your intentions about living in truth? Are you clear about the truths you believe in? We all have our priorities. Many people only want to respect ideas (true or not) that support their lifestyles and their associations. For this second interview with Stuart Brody, we're going to talk about the distortions of reality that propaganda and fear have created and make this an unstable world. It's hard to be confident of the future when we see so many people who are unable to identify truth. Maybe fear is clouding their ability for discernment and wisdom. Perhaps truth is more apparent than some of us realize but our society is asking many people to ignore the greater good in favor of their tribal associations such as greedy corporations and political parties. Stuart Brody has written a very important book, "The Law of Small Things", about the challenge of living in truth and the need to build a stronger culture of trust.
These are difficult times when we don't know who to believe and what to trust. It's important to develop better discernment tools to find our way. Stuart Brody has written about many of the pitfalls of trust and his book, "The Law of Small Things, Creating a Habit of Integrity In a Culture of Mistrust", is extremely helpful to find your way through this fragile era.

He enumerates so many ways that our lives have been compromised by the needs of so many who cloud the nature of truth. Tune into this very insightful interview to learn about how to live with more clarity and discernment.

The Dr. Peter Breggin Hour – 07.03.19

My guest Jeffrey Masson PhD may be the greatest writer ever about the emotions of animals. What Jane Goodall is to chimpanzees in the wild, Jeff is to our dogs and to the whole broad spectrum of animal life in relationship with human life. Always science based, he writes artistically about their relationships with us. Today’s show is all about animals and especially about dogs and what we as a species have learned from our co-evolution with them. What emotions do they have that we share? Do they have unique emotions? Can we feel things they cannot feel? What have we learned from them about love, trust, and forgiveness. Recently an article has come out describing how dogs are the only non-human creatures who have learned to move their eyebrows to show their emotions and always in relation to us. Dogs and humans, Jeff suggests, are “one species,” having evolved together. I do not think I’ve ever had a conversation on or off the air in which so many new ideas and nuances about human and animal life have come out. For me, this show is a treasure! Please share this hour with me and Jeff.

Authors John Duffy and Ray Nowosielski are the guests for the hour; to speak about their recent book
The Watchdogs Didn't Bark. The product of years of investigation, it begins with the questions: why were
two of the September 11 hijackers, already in the US and on the FBI terrorist watch list, not apprehended
long before the attacks took place, and why was no one in the US government held accountable?
The authors find the answers in a complex web of spy agency rivalries and coverups.

The Infectious Myth - The UK “Bad Blood” Inquiry

David, in his role as the president of Rethinking AIDS, recently wrote to the UK “bad blood” inquiry. The inquiry believes that the clotting factor that hemophiliacs need to reduce the risk of bleeding severely, was infected with HIV. But David cites the evidence that it was actually impurities in the “intermediate purity” clotting factor used in the 1980s that was one problem, and the use of the drug AZT in HIV-positive hemophiliacs (and not in those who tested negative) was the cause of the extremely high death rate in hemophiliacs starting in the late 1990s, up to 13% of seropositives in one year, almost all taking AZT. The survival of some hemophiliacs in good health, who consistently refused AZT and later AIDS drugs, is further evidence that HIV was never the problem.
A copy of David’s letter to the inquiry, including citations, can be found here:
