Kids, Code, and Computer Science beanz is a fun print + online magazine for kids ages 8-12+ about coding, computer science, and how we Welcome! We want to reach more kids in more places.

beanz is an award-winning kids magazine about code, computer science, and engineering. The magazine helps kids, parents, teachers, and adults learn about computing and technology with as little fuss as possible. Every year we donate thousands of copies of beanz magazine to kids who show up in homeless shelters, schools, and food banks. 📚 Ellen built her first computer Radio Shack TRS-80 back in the '70s. She taught herself how to program and rocked the tech scene with her English degree! She faced challenges as one of the few women in programming, breaking stereotypes and daring to ask for fair pay. 👩‍💻

🌐 From programming to novel writing, Ellen observes today's tech landscape with a critical eye, foreseeing a future where everyone becomes a bit of a programmer. 📱💻
