The Sky Is Pink (2019)

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
This film is a roller coaster of emotions. Its warm, heart-wrenching, humorous all at once. Its a story of a family narrated by Aisha (Zara Wasim) who is spunky, funny, lively but - Dead. The hardships the couple faces in the span of 25 years. The movie revolves around the sorrow of the family but is constantly driving and spreading the positivity.
and , showed amazing chemistry in Dil Dhadakne Do and if those characters got married, they would have exactly been how they were in this film.
The direction is good, the message in the title is beautiful that you can colour the sky whatever you want, dream whatever you want.
The movie could have been executed a little better, could have been a little more raw. The climax is moving, there are a lot of moments where you’ll cry. The film celebrated life because death is inevitable.
Watch it with your FAMILY. Priyanka and Farhan are amazing and It sucks that we won’t be seeing more of Zara Wasim, because she was exceptional.

Everyone needs to watch this movie. What the world around you do to you, and “The worst part of having mental ilness is that People expect you to behave like you DONT”
Its disturbing, its dark, its not something everyone would be able to digest. I came out NUMB. Its a perfect film. These are the kind of movies I live for.
If Joaquin Pheonix doesn’t win an oscar for this. i dont know who will.
Heath Ledger will be SO PROUD.

War (2019)

Rating: 3.5 ⭐️
The story of Kabir () and Khalid ( ) is a high octane action drama film which is a wholesome entertainer.
I cannot imagine any other two actors who could have done this film. They are so similar, the movie had been promoted as a face-off film and the entire narrative stays true to the theme. Both of them are so similar and great in the way they dance and the action that its amazing.
The first half is super tight but the second half has its problems. The film starts to feel a little long and the chase sequences could have been cut short.
The locations are beautiful and so is everyone in this movie. The movie is very high on testosterone and the women hardly have any important part to play in the film.
The film seems to be predictable but has a LOT OF PLOT TWISTS.
Watch this SUPER ENTERTAINING film this weekend *as soon as you can* because there are tons of things that can be ruined for you. (The plot twists)
This is ’ best work till date and gives such Dhoom 2 feels🔥

Directed by: Ribhu Dasgupta⠀2.5 stars!

BoB is about an excommunicated intelligence agent Kabir Singh ( ) an Hostage rescue expert who takes on a covert mission in Balochistan to rescue 4 Indian agents. This show revolves around the fictional theme of Taliban’s expansion in Balochistan. It starts off pretty slow and then grows on to you.
released in the same week and the comparisons are going to be there naturally. This show seems scattered at many places.
With the runtime of 311 minutes, it seems rushed at times and we usually feel that web-series is stretched but this one seems to have cut in places, which is SUPER weird. There is a problem with the editing and direction, like trained terrorists taking fights without a proper cover, people running everywhere.
Coming to the performances, Emraan Hashmi is phenomenal, and treat to watch. In a web series the characters are layered, have an emotional connect but except for Kabir Anand’s character all the other characters lack that emotional presence. Veer () doesn’t really look homesick and Isha never even thinks about her mother once. excels even in this one and there is no stopping him even tho his characters have become monotonous.
Isha’s character is nothing but waste of talent because she has been more than perfect in whatever she has done but over here she is just bleh. Veer and Jannat () shows that they can excel with anything little that’s given to them.
Every episode has a cliffhanger and the one at the end of the season is THE BEST PART OF THE ENTIRE SERIES. It makes you want a SEASON 2 even if you didn’t like this one. ⠀ ⠀

The Family Man (2019)

manoj (Srikant Tiwari’s) potrayal of a man who leads a double life - as a middle-class man and an espionage agent in a story of great thrill and drama is both relatable and inspiring.
Needless to say, all the characters in web-series nowdays, are layered and complex but the best thing about the Srikant’s character is that despite being the Hero of the story, he is not. He doesn’t always win, he loses as much as he wins.
as Moosa is probably the best character in this series.
The story is gripping, thrilling, funny but it has its lose moments where it seems a little too stretched. The show is full of Dualities, in terms of story, emotions, narrative.
Watch this show if you haven’t. Its a good thriller but
* PLEASE CHECK YOUR SETTINGS FOR THE ORIGINAL SOUND TRACK. NOT. THE. ENGLISH. ONE. I DONT KNOW why and how has AMAZON provided that. *

*sorry for the late review*
Well, the movie is entertaining, a wholesome family entertainer. With the collections it has been making I was expecting something exceptional but couldn’t help finding it so very similar to Vicky Donor.
Its a good movie with great one liners, amazing performances (needless to say) specially Annu Kapoor, and Vijay Raaz
I’ll go with 3 stars for this one. You wont be bored. Its a fun movie. If you havent watched . I’d recommend you to go watch that one!

Masaan (2015)🔥
Director: Neeraj Ghaywan
Another underrated masterpiece and performance in Hindi Cinema. Masaan had a tight screenplay, great performances and writing. It was also received well by the critics having an average rating of 4. Also, this scene is so cute and funny. And you’ll love
Tu kisi rail si guzarti hai, main kisi pull sa thar tharata hoon.
