Do you agree? America is not a place where politicians get to treat the Constitution as optional whenever it becomes inconvenient. People of every faith and background are free to succeed here—but no ideology is entitled to power simply because criticism of it can be dismissed as prejudice.
Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Zohran Mamdani should be judged on their public records, policy positions, and political rhetoric—not their religion or heritage. Their critics point to progressive economic policies, positions on Israel, and rhetoric they believe conflicts with mainstream American views. Voters have every right to reject those policies at the ballot box.
A free republic depends on common laws, equal rights, secure borders, and institutions that apply the same rules to everyone. Cultural differences do not require abandoning those shared foundations.
Assimilation does not mean erasing someone's faith or heritage. It means accepting the country's laws, civic institutions, and constitutional framework. No politician is above those rules—and no voter is obligated to support an agenda they believe moves the country in the wrong direction.
