Sonic Comics is a new, independent comic book publishing company based in New York City. The company was formed by two longtime friends, CEO Christian Zilmer and Creative Director John "Johnny" Marsh. The two friends played in several bands together over the years, and have decided to take their artistic talents in an exciting direction. We at Sonic Comics obviously love comic books, but we believ

e readers are looking for something beyond good guys in tights fighting bad guys in tights. It is our intention to deliver top quality books that will stand out from the rest. The company's first book, "Words & Face," was written by Marsh and features the artistic talent of New York artist Zach Brunner. "Words & Face," (or WaF as we call it around here) tells a story of superhumans that don't fall into the typical good vs. evil cliche storylines. Before writing for Sonic Comics, Marsh worked for several years as a radio on-air personality, as well as a journalist for companies like AccuWeather.com, where he gained his first viral story. John can be contacted at [email protected]. Brunner is a New York-based freelance illustrator. His work ranges from comic books to character design to storyboards. His first illustrated book, "The High Cost of Happily Ever After", written by Jim Krueger, is available on Amazon.com. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2011 with a BFA in Film. Another featured artist that has joined the ranks of Sonic Comics is Jason Rumpff. Now based in San Francisco, Rumpff's interesting style truly brings a unique imagery to all of his work. Jason's site - http://rumpffart.com/

CEO Christian Zilmer has worked for an international multimedia conglomerate for several years, and during his time has established himself as both a master salesman and highly adept networker. Armed with a degree in International Politics, Zilmer's tenacity and resolve have turned Sonic Comics from an idle thought to a stark reality. Christian can be contacted at [email protected]. The final member of the team is Erik Stewart, Webmaster and Graphics Coordinator. Stewart's combination of dazzling visuals and brilliant creativity (not to mention timely production and insane work ethic) are the unsung hero of Sonic Comics, helping the company reach more and more people every day.
