Gojira headlining Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.
Gojira Official was the first “big band” to give a young Bruce a chance. 2018 I left warped tour to start a tour in Warsaw, Poland with a band I had never heard of at the time. If it wasn’t for Mario Duplantier seeing my work with Motionless In White and bringing me on, I’m not sure where I would be today.
I still remember TaylorB. messaging me on Instagram, asking if I would be interested in touring on Gojira’s 2018 European festival circuit. 2018 Bryce was a little cocky, and ignored the message. In my head I thought “they can email me”. The name of the band registered with a smaller heavy band for whatever reason, so I wasn’t putting a priority on the offer. I smacked myself in the head later, after getting a proper email and seeing what a powerhouse of a band Gojira had become and was still becoming.
Very grateful I was able to work with them all these later, watching them headline a Danny Wimmer Presents festival after so many years of seeing them move up slots.
Very blessed to have good people in my life like these French boys. Thanks for looking.
