Last month this op-ed was posted in the Daily News by a woman who feels (very very strongly) that it should be illegal to photograph her in public without her consent, in the several instances where it’s happened she’s called the police. As far as I know the law is on the side of the photographers providing the photographer is on public property and is not being a nuisance or danger to himself or others. I’ve done my share of street photography, I’ve never had anyone act in the way this woman has. Thoughts?
