The City Chemists Studios, located in New York City, consists of a privately run recording, mixing and mastering facility. Appropriately paired with professional engineers and experienced musicians, producing radio friendly products on a national level.

We would like everyone to keep in mind, that there are two types of people in the music industry today...There are intelligent people who ask the right questions, do effective research, and find out the facts for themselves and their band.
One example being, how we have been trained by platinum and gold record accredited producers and engineers. These engineers have approved our work as a product that competes nationally. It is in every way ready for release and radio-play.
Then there are local musicians looking for mainstream success, that don't ask questions, assume they already know everything, and usually don't accomplish anything worth while with their music...and then they wonder why. Ask yourself this question, which of these are you and how is it going to affect your future in the industry.
As far as generic samples go, (We were not aware there is a magic line between generic, and specific samples. Can someone clarify?) an artist looking to get the best quality recording for their band has to judge an engineer based on their quality. As far as this being a scam, you are discussing our business with people who also haven't worked with us, and have also failed to contact us with questions. Why not just ask us yourselves and find out if you like us, like we request to begin with.
Really, if you feel it's scam, call our bluff. We invite you to find another engineer who offers what we offer that will be interested in more than the minimal amount of communication to finish the project. We aren't trying to start any wars, but we have to defend against uneducated individuals. No need to bring down others in the industry. You don't always know who you're talking to, and you don't know which of us was in a touring band signed to Interscope, or which of us books at premiere venues throughout the city, or could potentially land you an opening slot for your favorite mainstream act.
