Pat Lewis, Founder of Social Media Concepts NY, is an entrepreneur who jumped on the internet bandwagon very early on. Ahead of the curve, she partnered two start-ups, including MET Design, a web development and online marketing company started in 1998. Some of their clients included IBM, ABC News, Merrill Lynch, Hilton Hotels, Sarabeth's Kitchen, and the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
She also co-founded Billijam, Inc. in 2004, which produced digital art environments and installations to transform public spaces within hotels, restaurants, bars, lounges, spas, subways, and other busy locations to visually promote brands. As Billijam was the only web company at the time to combine art and videos for messaging in public spaces, Clear Channel chose them to develop 'Digital Art Spots' to bring their clients' brands to the streets of New York via their wireless Digital Street Network (DSN). In her spare time, Pat is an amateur photographer and videographer. She has received several grants and awards for her video projects.
