I find that when I am going through a difficult period it helps to share our thoughts with others, instead of only focusing on our own problems. We are called to lift up our sisters even when we are hurting and in the midst of the storm.. In keeping with that frame of mind, today instead of feeling sorry for myself, instead of feeling hopeless, instead of complaining and calling it quits, I write

and share this prayerfully to encourage someone else. Remember God is the same today as He was yesterday. When you feel you have no where to turn and no one to go to, God will always be there for you.

Sometimes, the hardest chapters of our lives feel like total destruction. We wonder why we had to go through the pain, the heartbreak, or the loss. But often, the place where we were broken is exactly where God begins to lay a stronger foundation.
