I get why disabled parking spaces exist, and I’m not arguing that at all 😭

But I still can’t believe how fast a simple quick stop turned into a full-on mess.

I ran into Target just to grab one thing. One item. 💀

By the time I walked back out, a tow truck was already loading up a car that had been parked in a disabled spot.

No warning.
No second chance.
Just straight from the parking lot to getting towed.

What surprised me most wasn’t even the tow itself—it was how quickly it all happened.

One minute it was a normal errand, the next it was towing fees, paperwork, phone calls, and a completely ruined afternoon 😅

It was one of those situations where everything goes from 0 to 100 before you even have time to process it.

Do you think immediate towing is the right move in cases like this, or should there be a warning or ticket first?

Please tell me I’m not the only one who would be confused by this… we were quoted $850 to repair the wall and remount the TV, but I don’t even know if that’s where I should start after seeing this mess. The TV is lying on the floor, the mount area has torn open a huge section of drywall, the studs and insulation/wires are visible inside the wall, there’s a big broken drywall piece leaning behind the screen, and cables are stretched across the floor around the power strip. The guy who installed it said “it probably missed solid backing or pulled out over time,” but I don’t know if that means bad install, weak wall, wrong anchors, or something else. It kind of looks like the wall rejected the TV personally. Should I call the original installer, a drywall person, or someone to check the framing before anything goes back up?

With food prices already high, increasing taxes, ubiquitous fees, smaller portions, and more expensive menus, it sometimes feels like the menu price is merely a starting point. At what point does a tip cease to be a gesture of gratitude and instead feel like an additional mandatory charge?
