SPI/FilmBox and Red Bull Media House Ink a New 4K/UHD Content Deal for FunBox UHD

SPI/FilmBox acquires documentary series “Culinary Heights at Ikarus” from Red Bull Media House for its 4K and HD channels including FunBox UHD. Through the deal, SPI will also be able to sublicense the series to third parties in select territories.

SPI International’s Timeless Drama Channel (TDC) and Gametoon Now Available on StarTimes

SPI/FilmBox and #StarTimes, one of Africa’s leading digital TV operators have brought the first global Turkish drama channel #TimelessDramaChannel (TDC) and SPI’s gaming channel #Gametoon to Africa. The agreement builds on the distribution of Filmbox Africa and Fashionbox on StarTimes and makes two of SPI’s most in-demand channels available to StarTimes subscribers from 1st May. Gametoon and TDC will be broadcast in English and Turkish, respectively, while the latter will have English subtitles.

SPI/FilmBox and #Bulsatcom Partner to Bring Timeless Drama Channel (TDC) to Bulgaria

SPI/FilmBox announced that Timeless Drama Channel (TDC), the first global Turkish drama channel, will now be offered in Bulgaria through a strategic partnership with Bulgaria’s largest TV operator, Bulsatcom, via the operator’s DTH and IPTV platforms. Apart from TDC, four additional channels - FilmBox Plus HD, FilmBox Extra HD, DocuBox HD and FightBox HD - from SPI/FilmBox’s diverse suite of channels, will be made available on Bulsatcom’s DTH platform. The deal also marks a three-year extension for the distribution rights of the channels across all platforms.

SPI/FilmBox and 2BENAMED Partner to Distribute SPI Channels and VOD Content in Latin America

SPI/FilmBox and 2BENAMED announced that they have reached a strategic alliance centering on SPI’s SVOD packages and its localized linear channels. The deal grants 2BENAMED distribution rights to SPI’s VOD packages and localized linear channels in Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Uruguay. The three SVOD packages included in the deal feature on-demand content from some of SPI/FilmBox’s most riveting channels and are specially curated to fit the different tastes and needs of the Latin American audience.

SPI International Revamps Flagship Channel FilmBox

Global media company SPI/FilmBox which operates 40 channels on six continents, continues to improve its products and services to provide a high-quality entertainment experience to millions of viewers worldwide. The new and improved FilmBox channels will feature hundreds of hours of new, highly-demanded hit movies and series from major studios and a revamped graphics package which aims to reflect the innovative yet familiar aspect of the channel. The new graphics package will be used across FilmBox channels in all territories with the Czech Republic and Slovakia leading the launch in April.

FilmBox channels have also expanded their selection of titles through recent multi-territory deals with major studios and distributors to include a new batch of popular Hollywood blockbusters, world cinema gems and critically-acclaimed local productions.

SPI/FilmBox Expands Cooperation with IPTV Operator Nej.cz

SPI/FilmBox announces a new channel distribution deal with the 10+ million user French OTT platform Molotov for the gaming and esports channel, #Gametoon The channel will be available to subscribers in Molotov’s #GamerZone package.
