Tonight, Oct. 29, at 5 p.m. ET: Hear the social historian and Yiddishist Vivi Lachs talk about her book "East End Jews: Sketches from the London Yiddish Press" at this free NYC event.

The talk, sponsored by the League for Yiddish, will take place at the Jewish Theological Seminary, 3080 Broadway, in Manhattan. It will be in Yiddish, but bilingual selections will be read as well. Admission is free.
