We're gathering. We're building. We're doing it together. ✨

Picture Motion is proud to join The Solidarity House at Sundance 2026, a collaborative space where independent storytellers, cultural strategists, and movement builders come together to reimagine what's possible.

At a time when the systems that once supported independent media are disappearing, we're not waiting for permission. We're creating new infrastructure, rooted in care, transparency, and collective power.

The Solidarity House will feature panel discussions, intimate gatherings, creative activations, and the Liberation Lab where coalition members offer strategy sessions and collaborative workshops for artists, funders, and storytellers committed to building a more just media ecosystem.

2025 asked a lot of us — and once again, story met the moment.

This year, we partnered with filmmakers, artists, athletes, advocates, and communities to turn films into gathering spaces, conversations into action, and culture into something we could move together.

From packed screenings and intimate dialogues to national moments that traveled far beyond the theater, we were reminded that impact doesn’t happen alone — it’s built, brick by brick, in community.

As we step into the year ahead, our vision is clear: to keep honoring stories that matter, to lead with care and courage, and to help ideas travel where they’re needed most.

Grateful for everyone who trusted us with their stories — and excited for what we’ll build next.

📽️ Throwback to our FYC screening of “Bob Trevino Likes It” at the SVA Theatre in NYC as part of our “To Be Seen” initiative to amplify indie films with diverse narratives so that they’re seen, heard, and celebrated in a meaningful way.

The screening was hosted by Rosie Perez and the post-screening discussion with film director Tracie Laymon and star John Leguizamo, had us all laughing. It was incredible to connect IRL with the team who put Bob Trevino Likes It together.

We’re so excited about the momentum surrounding the film and hope you’ll add it to your chosen family’s watch list! 🍿❄️ Now streaming on Hulu.

7,000 high schoolers. One stage. Everything on the line.

This isn't debate club — it's NSDA Nationals, the world's most intense public speaking championship where future presidents, Supreme Court Justices, and changemakers are born.

🎬 SPEAK is part of our “To Be Seen” initiative where our goal is to amplify stories from diverse voices that have historically been overlooked and underfunded during awards seasons.

The teens featured in the documentary (.oyetunji .ali .aefer ) are sacrificing everything for a "sport" most people don't even know exists.

Why?

Because in a world drowning in noise, they're mastering the one skill that changes everything: the power of words. 🎙️
