We’re kicking off Advertising Week NY with some exciting announcements! Don’t miss the Future of TV Track Keynote: “The Power of AND” from our CEO, Nicolle Pangis, to find out what the buzz is around #NCCStayTuned! #AWNewYork
On 9/23, our Chief People Officer, Deb Josephs, will join a panel of judges to select winners for Advertising Week NY's Future is Female Awards! NCC is partnering with Advertising Week to shine a spotlight on the NewGen leaders who will define the ad & marketing industries in years to come through their career accomplishments and role model behavior.
Deb explains that support and career recognition starts on campuses and in our communities before joining the workforce. She encourages initiatives that acknowledge employees at all levels of the business, like the quarterly rewards programs recently launched at NCC. Deb shared a personal example of how positive employee recognition directly impacted her in the beginning stages of her HR career: “When I was promoted, it was announced in a company-wide memo with all promotions for that month. My mentor wrote a personal note on the announcement, framed it, then gave it to me as a gift. The note said, ‘There is no recognition like that of public recognition. Well-deserved.’ That message stuck with me and I have shared that wisdom throughout my career.”
Haven’t yet nominated a rising star for the Future is Female Awards? You still have until 9/13 to enter your submission here https://bit.ly/2jXwor4! #NCCStayTuned #FutureIsFemale

Dreams do come true, and we’re making them happen right here at NCC! Through our employee recognition program we’re enhancing our efforts to recognize and reward our employees company-wide. Our program is expanding from a fun, peer to peer Slack bot to a quarterly experiential recognition by the Company's senior leaders, with possible rewards ranging from a trip abroad to a hot air balloon ride!
Employee recognition has the most significant impact when it occurs immediately after a goal is achieved, when it comes from peers and managers, and when it’s tangible, specific, personal, and public. Which is why we want our employees to experience something memorable and will continue to build brands and inspire people in the process!
We're proud to support Volunteers of America Michigan and other nonprofits by donating backpacks and supplies to help children gear up for going back to school this fall!

For National Creativity Day we asked our VP of Creative, Robin Sodaro, what creativity means, to her. Continue reading to learn why she believes its important for all.
Q: How has art, in all its forms, impacted your life?
RS: Art has always grounded me. Whether I’m surround by it or immersed in it, I find solace and inspiration to continue whatever else I’m doing.
Q: Explain why you may believe creativity is important for everyone, not just those in creative professions.
RS: Creative, to me, is the ability to think outside the box, allowing yourself the freedom to find an alternate solution applicable to anything you do.
Q: How do you implement creativity to other aspects of your life outside of work?
RS: Creativity is innate to me so I look at everything I do through that lens. I’m not sure I know any different.
Our CEO, Nicolle Pangis, explains the impact of enabling media strategists to plan, buy and measure addressable, digital & linear TV buys in one place.
"There hasn’t been a particularly effective way to understand the full consumer media journey. Marketers see what’s happening on the TV side in one silo and the digital side in another."
"What we’ve recently done in adding digital buying capability to our TV platform is to introduce a way for marketers to connect the dots between these two channels."
