THE FIRST AND ONLY PEER NOMINATED RESTAURANT LISTINGS
Where Restaurant Professionals Choose the Top Places to Eat in NYC and San Francisco
Why Peer Reviews? When it comes to restaurant reviews, we believe a key perspective is missing. Critic and consumer reviews are very common, but they each have their limitations. The critic review is often the result of a single experience which may not accurately reflect the overall quality of an establishment. Consumer reviews are often written by those who lack knowledge and experience. These reviews only tell part of the story. Ultimate Dining NYC finishes the story by bringing peer reviews to the table. Who better to identify the best restaurants than restaurant professionals? Join us as they identify some of the top restaurants in New York City. The objective of Ultimate Dining NYC is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional restaurants rated best by restaurant professionals. Our unbiased approach and independent third-party validation process make us a trustworthy resource for both restaurant professionals and consumers searching for the best dining experience. Peer-Review Process A peer nomination does not guarantee a listing in Ultimate Dining NYC. Indeed, a nomination is just the first step towards a listing. Nominees are rated on Ultimate's Four Pillars: Food, Decor, Service, and Location. To verify peer reviews, our Research Department independently verifies the accuracy of nominations. A verification can consist of reviewing consumer and critic reviews, interviewing people, and conducting site evaluations. We perform full 360 degree reviews of peer-nominated restaurants to ensure that only the best establishments in each class achieve Ultimate status. Ultimate Dining NYC is distributed to nearly all New York City restaurants in print form, and our Research Department reaches out annually for nominations and review requests. Restaurants cannot pay to appear in Ultimate Dining NYC. All listings are published at no charge to the restaurants.
