TripodMedia A Documentary Studio

TripodMedia aims to bring the complex human stories in China to the international audience. China's rapid rise has attracted great interest and media attention all over the world. Some of the media portrayal of China, however, still dwells on the binary mode of China versus the West. We believe that this preference for conflict/contradiction narrative is doing us a disservice in understanding and engaging with China. At TripodMedia, we focus on making character-driven documentary films that are both emotionally appealing and intellectually challenging in their critical examination of the complexity of modern-day China.
