Working to create Burning Rubber has been such a journey. It premiered on Max (HBO) on March 23rd and the feedback was immediate and overwhelmingly positive.

While Chris and I have been doing this together for over 10 years, we never had the opportunity to put our name on something that was created by us (and for us) on a global platform.

We wanted to represent black culture, we wanted to represent black nerds... and we wanted to create characters that looked like our son (who looooooves anime).

And we did it... but the journey has just started!

We found out that Warner Bros submitted us to be considered for an Emmy Nomination for character design (love this for Black Anime!!!) and we are discussing turning Burning Rubber into a full series with Max as well as pitching other projects.

Our mind is blown... our excitement is palpable and our team is AWESOME.

Thank you to everyone who has shared, congratulated, and supported us through all of it.
