One of the things that made Andor feel so grounded was its incredible use of real-world locations. 🌍✨ In Season 2, the fields of Mina-Rau were filmed in Oxfordshire, Chandrila came to life among the mountains of Montserrat, D’Qar returned to RAF Greenham Common, and the ISB operations room was filmed inside the McLaren Technology Centre.

Before sharing the Star Wars galaxy, Donnie Yen and Natasha Liu Bordizzo shared the screen in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, playing Silent Wolf and Snow Vase. ⚔️ Released in early 2016, the film was followed later that same year by Yen's Star Wars debut as Chirrut Îmwe in Rogue One, while Bordizzo would eventually join the galaxy as Sabine Wren in Ahsoka. ✨

The Darkness on Umbara arc remains one of the most popular and highly regarded storylines from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Spanning four episodes of Season 4, it throws Captain Rex, Fives, Jesse, Hardcase and the 501st into a brutal campaign under Jedi General Pong Krell, whose reckless orders and contempt for the clones gradually reveal something far more sinister.

From the incredible nighttime battles and unique Umbaran technology to clone mutiny, heartbreaking sacrifices, clones unknowingly fighting their own brothers, and the shocking revelation that Krell has betrayed the Republic and the Jedi, the arc pushed The Clone Wars into some of its darkest territory. More importantly, it put the clones themselves at the center of the story, exploring loyalty, individuality, morality and whether a soldier should blindly follow an unjust order.
