As of now, Sebastian Stan is 41 years old, which may align well with the character's age during this specific timeline.

Mark Hamill was 32 during the filming of "Return of the Jedi" when Luke Skywalker was around 23 years old. Given that Luke's journey continues about 5 years after "Return of the Jedi", Stan's age may make him a fitting choice to portray this iconic character.
