I based this recipe off the liv express teriyaki chicken recipe in my fast food cookbook and she did not disappoint!! My new go to π€©π€©

Ingredients
(Steak)
β° 16 oz sirloin steak
- seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt and pepper
(Teriyaki Sauce)
β° 1/4 cup (60g) low sodium soy sauce
β° 1 tbsp (8g) corn starch
β° 1/2 cup (118 ml) water
β° 1 garlic clove
β° 2 tbsp (16g) monkfruit
β° ginger, salt, and pepper to taste
β° 1-2 tsp (5-10g) chili oil crunch (optional)
(Rice)
β° 1 pack Trader Joeβs veggie fried rice
β° 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
β° garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper
(Optional homemade yum yum sauce, green onion and sesame seeds for topping)
β° Yum yum sauce: 1/4 cup Greek yogurt or light mayo, 1/2 tbsp ketchup, 1 tsp rice vinegar, paprika, salt and pepper
Directions
1. Cube steak and season (using scissors makes it faster).
2. While steak is cooking (pan on high) mix ingredients for teriyaki sauce.
3. After steak is almost done add sauce to steak and simmer until it thickens.
4. Remove steak from pan and add rice to the same pan so it absorbs left over sauce.
5. Add soy sauce and additional seasonings to rice.
6. Enjoy!
