🦀JERK CRAB BOIL at Miss Lily’s🦀

[hosted]

They’ve brought back two weekday dinner specials you need to plan your week around:

🍗 Jerk Fest Mondays – all-you-can-eat jerk chicken & pork spare ribs
🦀 Jerk Crab Boil Tuesdays – a full pound of snow crab simmered in spicy jerk broth with all the fixings

I pulled up to support their new 🗣️TALENTED culinary director, Chef Brittney “Stikxz” Williams, and try this crab boil.

What I ordered:

✅ Mezcal cocktail with watermelon & Aperol (dangerously smooth)
✅ Codfish fritters with curry dipping sauce (Chef, I need this bottled)
✅ Jerk mushroom lettuce wraps + prawns in scotch bonnet sauce
✅ My first time cracking crabs—with a Maryland pro by my side 🦀💪🏾

Shoutout to for the invite and big congrats to Chef Stikxz.

OENO Camp Photo Diary 📸🍷

Virginia is the birthplace of American wine—but at OENO Camp, we saw how innovative, forward-thinking, and community-rooted the next wave of wine professionals truly is.

This 3-day immersive experience in Virginia’s Monticello AVA brought together BIPOC wine professionals to learn, connect, and deepen our relationship with wine—from vine to glass.

This trip was a reminder that wine is more than what’s in the glass—it’s who’s at the table and how we shape what’s next.

Thank you to and for this opportunity.

Did you know WeWork is on ClassPass?

I am remote worker who thought they missed being in office. I just needed to change locations😭

Also, the Harlem WeWork is a cute location with plenty of seats, outlets, strong wifi, and a helpful staff.

Second WSET certification🍷A Monday in my life.

It’s all a juggling act, a lot of sacrificing, and time management skills, but learning more about something that interests you is all worth it.

These are my Mondays, and baby, they are long.

🍷Consider this my reminder to invite me to all the wine events🍷

Thank you to my family for the invite to their 2025 Tre Bicchieri U.S. Tour. I had the opportunity to attend two masterclasses led by the Editor-In-Chief of the Vini D’Italia guide, Marco Sabellico.

Vini d'Italia is an annual guide showcasing the finest offerings from Italy. Each year, over 70 expert tasters come together to conduct blind tastings of more than 45,000 wines. Of these thousands of wines, fewer than 1% earn the prestigious Tre Bicchieri designation.

What’s next for me in the world of wine? I am taking my Level 2 in May, and looking forward to attending more wine events, and overall increasing my knowledge.

Welcome to the Puglia region of Italy. This region is Italy's largest olive oil producer, accounting for about 40% of the country's total production.

During a trip hosted by Gambero Rosso International, I had the opportunity to learn about the olive oil process, which has been passed down for several generations.
