Drivers are starting to avoid I-40 completely. What's happening out there isn't normal anymore. Truckers are getting pulled over, questioned, and checked on the spot. If something doesn't add up... they're losing their CDL right there on the road.

This is what's really getting truckers shut down right now. Drivers are being stopped and tested on English during inspections. If they can't read, write, or answer questions clearly... they're fined and put out of service.
Doesn't matter if they've been driving 30 years without a single issue. Fair or is that too far?

State officials pulled thousands of commercial licenses after discovering serious problems with how they were originally issued. Many drivers who were working just days ago are now sidelined with no clear path back.
Now freight is short on drivers, new licenses are slowed down, and the pressure is building fast. When trucks stop moving, it doesn't stay a trucking problem... it turns into an everyone problem.

If a truck driver can't speak English, he needs to be taken off the road!
