MY HUSBAND WENT TO A FRIEND'S WEDDING FOR THREE DAYS, LEAVING ME AND OUR KIDS $20 — HE FELL TO HIS KNEES WHEN HE RETURNED.

So, my husband and I had a huge fight exactly an hour before he was supposed to leave for three days. That Friday, he left work early because his friend invited him to a wedding (I still don't get why I wasn't invited, honestly).

It was a drawing — just a cute little sketch at first glance. It showed a family: a man, a woman, and a little girl all holding hands. I smiled at first, thinking, aw, how sweet. But then I looked closer. The man? Definitely Jack, my husband. But the woman? It wasn't me. She had brown hair and was dressed like a bride.
