Hello pals! It's my birthday. Today I am 51 years old. And if you would like to do something for me, I'd love if you take a look at my new Patreon and consider joining!
WHY?
Well, I've been fortunate enough this year that I think I can self-fund about 65% of my upcoming Edinburgh show by myself. What that means is I don't have to go out for a gigantic Kickstarter that I did last year. I'm going to run one that is more focused on marketing-specific costs and that'll be in June/July. This is awesome news... although I had a lot of supporters last year, going out again I know can be diminishing returns (and I'm still catching up to sending out rewards... the post-campaign process can actually be a bit overwhelming).
SO...
So instead of a big Kickstarter, I want to focus on making things specifically for audiences that want to hear from me as opposed to chasing algorithms on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. That's where Patreon comes in! I also want a more stable flow of support that can potentially smooth out the ups and downs of comedy and theater. I would much rather be able to create stuff that a small group of interested fans want to see, as opposed to trying to blast out videos to hundreds and thousands of people, only to find it impossible to talk to them about live shows and another projects when I need to. This will also unofficially reboot The Chris Grace Show podcast that I had last year, and some cool new projects.
OKAY! NOW WHAT?
If you don't mind, visit the link in the comment below and check the Patreon out, feel free to let me know if you have any idea for a reward or tier that isn't in there, and choose one of the levels to support!
