Positions are pressure-tested on the mats and effectively applied on the streets by cops nationwide who have attended our courses.

In the Colorado State Patrol Team Control course, 95% of the class already had Jiu-Jitsu training. The students were highly engaged, and DMs are pouring into our mailbox asking for another course.

I guess we are doing something right…

Colorado - Officers responded to reports of a man walking in traffic who then pulled out a weapon, according to police.

Multiple people had called 911 to report the man was causing vehicles to swerve, and one caller said she almost hit the man with her vehicle.

When police arrived they tried to talk to the man, who took out a weapon. An officer shot him. The man was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.

• IMO the officer did an excellent job.
• Shooting and walking back.
• Very good radio communication.

Returning from training this afternoon, we came across an alleged assault on a woman on the beach at Recreio dos Bandeirantes. I returned the car, and went to the girl to find out the situation, and in fact it was a robbery.
Me and my friends _matheusbjj and atletayurenascment returned the car, and saw the guy. Seeing that he was unarmed, we intervened and participated in immobilizing the perpetrator only using the jiu-jitsu techniques of my master kennyadias , leader of blacknorte.oficial and also of the GPCI that I learned from master sylviobehring and @ ericapaes5 in the program empoderadas.rj.
We managed to capture the criminal, we recovered the victim’s cell phone, and today we have one less robber on the streets.
It was great to collaborate with the Police and euapoio_recreiopresente who are fighting these BANDIDOS daily.
I don’t recommend that unprepared people take this action, but today I became 1% better. Oss 💪🏻🥋✅

Chicago Illinois. - State Police Trooper / Chicago seen flying off vehicle.

It occurred on S La Salle Street & W 47th street. Suspect was driving a black BMW which was reported stolen at gunpoint.

Jacksonville Sheriff deputies shoot a known drug dealer armed with knife during foot pursuit.

The video shows footage from two different officers. In the video, officers can be heard yelling, “He’s got a knife,” and ordering the suspect to get on the ground, he continues to run through the apartment’s parking lot. At one point, an officer fires about 10 shots, and the suspect hits the ground and is handcuffed.

• Very good communication between the deputies.

• Suspect died at hospital.

The officer approached a distressed man who runs into the street away from the officer. When the officer catches up, he demands that Anderson lay on the ground on his stomach so he can be detained. Anderson sits down, but doesn’t roll over. He’s then approached by eight officers who help restrain him.

Officers tell Anderson to relax but he continues to scream and struggle. An officer warns Anderson multiple times that he will tase him, as another can be seen burying an elbow to the Black man’s neck.

One of the officers who arrived deployed the taser at least six times, four right up against Anderson’s body, over the course of 33 seconds.

The suspect suffered cardiac arrest and died around 4.5 hours after he was restrained by and tasered six times by a member of the Los Angeles Police Department.

• If you train you can see so many options to transition to a handcuff position… but some officers love their ⚡️⚡️ now the Family seeks $50 million from LAPD. Be an Asset not a Liability.

A Kansas City, Kansas, police officer is on administrative leave as the department investigates a viral video in which the officer exhibited unusual behavior.

• “While still early in the investigation, preliminary information indicates that a medical condition may have been a factor in the officer’s appearance,” the department said.
