SISFI, the Suicide Institute, #NYC The Suicide Council, NY Human Suffering and Wellness Coalition "NYHSWC" and North Bronx National Council of Negro Women Child Development Center invites you to our Males Leadership Breakfast on "Understanding, Releasing and Healing Male Emotions" on Saturday November 12th, 8:30am-12pm at NCNW, 4035 White Plains Road, Bronx, NY, 10466. We have some powerful speakers, presentations and panel discussion on “Male Emotions and the Heartaches and Pains of it.” This is part 2 of the series as we continue focusing on the male challenges of life and helping them address them effectively.

At the core of a male’s life and being are the emotions he so desperately tries to manage as he grows through life and its challenges of being a man, father, husband, role model and a positive contribution to society. Sometimes the challenges are so great that the emotions can’t be contained or controlled and he acts out in ways that can be aggressive, violence, abusive or withdrawn, isolated and self-harming. As males, many aren’t taught how to manage emotions, disappointments, heartbreaks, poverty, social injustice, relationships and parenthood and until the situation arises is when they are now faced with the choices and challenges of them with sometimes no help, resource, mentor or positive guidance.

Society does not present enough (if any in most places) open and comfortable places where males can open up about their emotional distress without being judged, rebuked, and violated simply out of need for getting help and support. Many of the domestic violence, abuse, substance abuse, violence, aggression and suicide ideations in males are from emotional distress they don’t know how to handle but need help with.

There are many people who are suffering and struggling with life challenges that really need help with resources, counseling, therapy, coping and life skills but males have less support and resources to help them.

Register here https://sisfi-mlb1112.eventbrite.com/ and join us for this powerful, educational and enlightening dialog and presentation about the true impacts of emotions and pain on males. Please share and invite your family, loved ones and friends to join us.

Thank You. #OneLove

About Mrs. Williams.

Mrs. Williams grew up in New Jersey, a place where some feel they wouldn't survive. Her family started from the ground up in the projects (urban housing) located in the city North Newark. She is the oldest of 6 sisters and 3 brothers.

Mrs. Williams has dedicated her life to empower people around her while empowering herself through each trial and tribulation. She was a victim of sexual abuse and molestation during her early childhood. She is a suicide attempt survivor as well. She realized helping others in similar situations gave her such a rewarding feeling that she decided to make it her career. She believes the best teacher is the teacher taught through experience and one who can empathize. She travels to speak to young girls and women about her story.

She has dedicated her life to helping others reach their full potential and often lectures on the subject of happiness. She is now a proud wife and a mother of two beautiful girls. She looks forward to exemplifying that we all can be victors instead of victims and works diligently at such. Mrs. Williams has started focusing on her national tour to speak to young women allowing them to see their beauty within. She believes that honesty, integrity, and a healthy perspective are essential components of happiness.

Find more about her and her work on her website http://www.sacritdevas.org/.

Please share and support her work, and if of interest to you, please contact her.

Thank You,
