Super Moist Banana Bread ✨ The Ultimate Comfort Food
This isn't your grandma's banana bread (though she'd probably love it too!). This recipe delivers unbelievably moist, tender crumb, bursting with banana flavor. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon treat!
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mash bananas well. Stir in melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat in the egg until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
4. Stir in nuts (if using).
5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
