Super Moist Banana Bread ✨ The Ultimate Comfort Food

This isn't your grandma's banana bread (though she'd probably love it too!). This recipe delivers unbelievably moist, tender crumb, bursting with banana flavor. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon treat!

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, mash bananas well. Stir in melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat in the egg until combined.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
4. Stir in nuts (if using).
5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.

These aren't your grandma's butter cookies! We've taken the classic Kentucky Butter Cake and transformed it into melt-in-your-mouth, perfectly crumbly cookies. Get ready for a flavor explosion of buttery richness and subtle sweetness. Perfect with a cup of coffee or a tall glass of cold milk!

Ingredients:

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Crockpot Mississippi Chicken. Slow Cooker Southern Comfort.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite!)
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1/4 cup chopped green onions, for garnish

Directions:

1. Place chicken breasts in your crockpot.
2. Drizzle with olive oil.
3. In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, melted butter, and ranch seasoning mix.
4. Pour sauce over chicken.
5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
6. Garnish with green onions before serving. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or your favorite sides.

Fried Cornbread. Crispy Cornbread Bites.

Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup yellow cornmeal
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbsp sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup milk
1 large egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Vegetable oil for frying

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a large bowl, whisk together cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk, milk, egg, and 1/4 cup oil.
4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Don't overmix.
5. Pour batter into a greased 8x8 inch baking pan.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Let cool completely.
8. Cut cornbread into 1-inch cubes.
9. Heat 1 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

For the Dressing:
