Leica-R Summilux TLS primes are one of our favorite S35 and Full Frame lens sets at NYCC. The look is natural and photographic. Originally designed for 35mm photography use with Leica systems, the Leica-R Summilux TLS set has been completely rehoused by True Lens Service in London, UK in collaboration with Cinescope. Delivering perfect mechanics with a unique look and feel. The lenses render skin tones beautifully with a soft purple flare. The overall look is clean with soft bokeh making them great for use with diffusion filters to get different vintage effects. The set covers Full Frame and in particular, the fast Summilux T Stop of the 35,50,80 create portraiture unlike any other set we offer. The possibilities with the Leica-R Summilux TLS set are endless.

The GL Canon Rangefinder Primes are a gem amongst lenses from their incredible high speed T1.5 Stop, to Full Frame coverage to immaculate portrait rendering. These lenses were designed for photography in the 1960’s. These lenses are combination of Canon FL and LTM vintage canon glass. Covering both S35 and Full Frame these special lenses have a unique look and feel. They have beautiful golden flares and delicate skin tones. They offer a medium contrast and low chromatic aberration. The gentle roll off and gorgeous bokeh gives the image a truly three dimensional look.​​​​​​​​

Zeiss Super Speed MK III Primes are the original high-speed Zeiss offering. The look is cool/neutral offering a gentle focus roll off with immaculate skin tones. As the precursor to Arri Zeiss Master Primes, these lenses offer a T1.3 stop making them ideal for isolating subjects and pushing the audience’s eye to one part of the frame all within a vintage coloration. The coating and flare have a blue/magenta quality.​​​​​​​​

New Gear! Mark III Xelmus Apollo anamorphic 2x lenses are truly unique modern anamorphic lenses. They have a beautiful “lomo esc” look, eastern European coloration, gentle anamorphic bokeh, and moderate distortion. They have a blue coating and flare and render faces with a respectful amount of distortion for anamorphic glass. Xelmus Apollo’s are very lightweight and have incredible close focus making them perfect for handheld, gimbals and stabilizers. These lenses have no breathing and DO NOT have pincushioning like Cooke Anamorphics and other manufacturers. The look is almost vintage, creamy, soft, and gentle, and very sharp at T2.8 ¼, giving you maximum picture quality. For modern anamorphic lenses these give you all of the qualities of classic anamorphics like Panavision, Lomos, and Hawks, but in a lightweight and compact size.​​​​​​​​
