Daniel Fine reflects on dramaturgy + design + multiple disciplines + considering the future of media-augmented live performance in HowlRound. "Yet it seems that the basics of dramaturgy are often eschewed when it comes to the use of digital media in live performance. A key dramaturgical question that I find is often overlooked is, 'What story are we trying to tell and how will the inclusion of media help us tell that story effectively?'"

Sarah Cameron Sunde's "36.5 / a durational performance with the sea" was featured in Chance issue 4 with images from the San Francisco stage of the piece's development. A new phase of the work will be livestreamed from the Netherlands on Monday, August 10 from 1:45am-2:45pm EDT (New York) / 12:45am-1:45pm CDT (Chicago) / 11:45pm (8/9)-12:45pm MDT (Denver) / 10:45pm (8/9)-11:45am PDT (Los Angeles).
