There Is No I, But Maybe An IOU…
A team is not something that you can force people to become. It takes leadership, guidance, and enough concern for each individual to win their loyalty. In a team, each member has faith in his or her teammates to do what is best for the group as a whole, rather than doing what is best for the individual. It is that faith and dedication to the common goal that binds the individuals together and ensures the success of the entire team. It can’t be forced, it can’t be faked, and it can’t be fixed when someone has broken that bond. When you find yourself as a member of a team, appreciate it, protect it, and realize that you will all share the sweetness of victory together or you will all suffer the bitterness of defeat together.

Sometimes attaining success is as simple as opening your mind and your eyes to what is right in front of you. As adults, we all know that we don’t always get what we want. And in some cases, we don’t get anything that we thought we wanted. But every time you put in the effort, there are good things that come back to you. And you need to take a look at those things to see if any or all of them are an unexpected windfall. Changing your goal is not the same thing as giving up. It might make your path longer, but if it leads you to happiness, then it was worth the extra effort and the change of plans. Continue walking into your greatness.
