The IT department has a great and exciting opportunity in New York City for an entry level Technical Support Engineer, available immediately. We’re looking for a candidate that has experience with break/fix troubleshooting, networking and customer relations. This position will be part-time, with potential to grow into a full time status.

Requirements are:

· PC/Mac hardware – Support, installation and/or assembly
· Desktop Operating Systems – Windows XP, 7, 8, 10, Mac OS X
· Server Operating Systems - Windows Server 2003(r2), 2008(r2) and 2012(r2). Linux knowledge not required but is a plus
· Microsoft Active Directory – Installation, maintenance & support
· Network – TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, Switches, Routers, wifi equipment
· Virtualization – VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V
· Email – SMTP, POP3, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Google Apps for Business
· Printers – Installation, support and sharing

This position requires that you have a driver’s license and will involve onsite visits with clients primarily in the NYC region.
