Through panels, symposia, position papers, and a quarterly publication, The Journal of Fashion, Law, and Society, the Center will address important legal and social issues relating to fashion, and facilitate a dialogue among scholars and professionals in fields like law, sociology, and history, whose approach to fashion might otherwise be constrained by their respective disciplines. The Center’s official launch is currently planned for January 2014.
