Perfectly Normal For Me - ReelAbilities Film Festival: New York

We have wonderful news for our film: Perfectly Normal For Me has been chosen to screen at the ReelAbilities Film Festival: North America! The New York Premiere is Friday, March 9 at 3PM at the JCC Manhattan located at 76th and Amsterdam. We are being honored with a red carpet event that will include the stars of the film for this special occasion.

The festival runs from March 8-14 and we have 5 screenings at different venues during that time.

Filmmakers and stars will attend as available (TBD).

Friday, March 9 at 3 PM at Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan
Sunday, March 11 at 10 AM at Central Queens Y and Samuel Field Y in Forest Hills (free ticketed)

Sunday, March 11 at 3:30 PM at Cinema Arts Center in Huntington

Monday, March 12 at 7:30 PM at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, David Rubenstein Atrium (free)

Tuesday, March 13 at 1 PM at The Viscardi Learning Center: Multimedia Learning Center in Albertson

If you plan to attend any of these screenings, please secure tickets at your earliest convenience before they sell out. Two of the screenings are free but you should secure your tickets right away.
Check with each venue for discounted senior, student and group sales.

At a unique after school dance program in Queens, kids with a variety of physical and developmental challenges pair with teenage volunteer helpers to create an inclusive environment too often absent in our world.

Since I’m lucky enough to always have had a roof over my head, it’s
difficult to fully understand what it is to be homeless. To wonder where
you’ll sleep that night, where the next meal is coming from, how to access
health services – it must be a constant struggle. Now add being a teenager
to homelessness, and trying to graduate from high school, and your problems
are compounded.
